xmltool

NP_XMLTools

Using this plugin, you can easily provide two versions of your RSS feed, without needing multiple skins or templates. You’ll have two versions:

  1. xml-rss.php will contain only excerpts, and a wordcount
  2. xml-rss.php?full=yes will contain the full items

Trouble

Q) Is there a need for the of the xmlrss2-template anymore? - eugenandreas@yahoo.de

Bugs

  1. If your posted item contains a character like , the rss feed cannot be displayed properly in mozilla. In IE it works quite well... - EugenAndreas

I’ve discovered that this was problem of Mozilla not being able to display it properly. The error was caused by “Umlaute” like and it messed up with “& u u m l;” etc. But with the xml-rss2.php everything just works fine.. - EugenAndreas
