Avatar

This plugin allows members to upload and manage avatars which can be shown on items and comments. This plugin is still in beta.

You can use NP_Profile as alternative to this plugin.

If you don't see an avatar selection dropdown menu in comment forms, add this code to your /nucleus/forms/comment-loggedin.template:

1.0b3 adds new variables to the default template. I'd suggest uninstalling the old plugin before installing this new version.

• Place <%Avatar%> in an appropriate place in either an item or comment template. This will insert the chosen avatar image for that item/blog, with a link to the user's member info page.
• Place <%Avatar%> in an appropriate place in the Member Details skin. This will insert the default avatar image for that member, with a link to a page displaying all of that their avatars.
• To manage avatars, either click the link in the member settings page, or click admin from the plugin list.

• Avatars set for comments cannot be changed.
• Editing an avatar's image currently does not work.
• Deleting an avatar does not revert any items or comments using that avatar.

  • Avatar for an item can now be changed while editing the item.
  • Added a skinvar to insert the default avatar in a user's member info page.
  • avatarlink variable now available for the Avatar Template. In items and comments this is set to the memberinfo page for the given user. In the memberinfo page this will be a link to a page listing all avatars for that user.
