Nucleus Community Pack

Nucleus Community Pack is a collection of customized plugins, skins and templates for those who want to build a blog community using Nucleus. This is a work in progress and will be initially based on the setup of tipos.com.br, a Brazilian community I (moraes) have been running since 2000.

Goals:

• easy multiple blogs management;
• automatic blog creation through invitations - super-admins distribute invitations to blog admins so they can invite their friends;
• layout customization done by blog admins;
• aggregation of updated blogs and latest comments in the index page;
• detailed member profiles and preferences;
• cached content allowing to build big communities without big server usage;
• this list is still incomplete…

• a bunch of friends who want to run a blog in a community ;
• Nucleus 3.3-CVS - the Community Pack plugins use the new Manager::getMember() function which is only available in CVS. I hope the package will be mature when Nucleus 3.3 comes out so it can be used to promote Nucleus and the new version.
