Nucleus 5: Open Questions

  • Who should be the target audience(s) for Nucleus 5? Developers, people writing personal diaries, people writing a fansite, corporate sites … all of them? What are their specific needs? … and what approach do we employ to determine those needs?
  • What's the model that Nucleus 5 should incorporate? Revolutionize the current way of working? Come up with a new model, for instance ATOM as the communication model? Choosing that communication model should make it easier for third party publishing tools to be adopted by users, because ATOM is not only a syndication format, it's, also, an API (like SOAP, XML-RPC and so many others). Adopting one of these models, in theory, should make it possible to code a different client with the same server software. It's just a suggestion that should be considered.
  • Which PHP-coders are “in”? It will mean a couple of months spending a lot of free time coding this baby and it could result in a bleeding edge CMS, but only with dedication.
  • Where is the roadmap? A roadmap with a couple of goals which ideally could be established on their own. That way different persons can work on different sub-projects, making one revolutionized Nucleus 5 in the long run.

:!: These are part of the Nucleus 5 plans. Read more about the project.
