This plugin shows detailed weather information for most major cities in the world.

1. Check your server PHP Version. Must be V5.0 or higher !!. If you do not have PHP5 , download the V2.8 of this plugin!

1. Download the right version (.zip for windows , .tar.gz for linux)
2. Unzip / Untar the file and upload the contents to your plugin directory.
3. Install the plugin...
4. Go to http://xoap.weather.com/search/search?where=rotterdam and replace the city with the name of the city you want the weather information for. Write the loc_id (In this example NLXX0015) number down as you will need it in the configuration!

Insert <%Weatherreport%> on the desired place in your skin.

• I believe there are no restrictions.

• From version V3.0 of this plugin the following options are available

1. Show graphical weather icon (128×128 , 64×64 or 32×32) (included)
2. Show name of the city
3. Show weather conditions (only in english)
4. Show temperature
5. Show feels like temperature
6. Show humidity
7. Show windspeed
8. Show winddirection
9. Show air-pressure
10. Show air-pressure arrows
11. Show Erythemal UV index
12. Show Dew point temperature
13. Show Visability

All temperatures and distances can be chooses either metric or imperial , but not both or individual.

IE does currently not support transparent PNG. Here is a forum post with a good tip when you have problems using PNG and the Weather icons in PNG

If you switch from Metric (Celcius) to Iperial (Fahrenheid) or visa-versa keep in mind that your settings will be read from cache until the refresh timer is triggerd. (!)

To make it easier for testing you should set the cache timer to 1 sec until you are satisfied with your current settings!
